The Red Fox, Penllyn does all the things you would expect for a Traditional Country Pub, and we do them well. We are famous for our warm welcome, proper home cooked British Country Pub food, award winning beers and real ales, amazing wines, charming stone wall surroundings, a log fire, a big garden, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere.

Treat yourself to a bit of Country Pub normality

We are easing our way back to normality, with new, temporary opening hours, following current government guidelines. These will change depending on what is considered the safe thing to do.  We are offering our full menu and beer, wine and spirits and all other bar beverages to visiting customers and for take aways. With drinks & dining inside and out side in our large beer garden.

What’s available?

Along with our usual warm welcome, all items on our menu and all beverages served at our bar are available. 
You can eat in, eat out (in the garden), and order take aways, which can be picked up or delivered to your door. 

Are there rules?

Yes, we follow all the latest government guidelines. They keep changing but these are the latest. 

• For dining or drinking here at the pub, you’ll need to sit at a table, either inside or out in our beer garden.

• Face coverings that cover mouth and nose must be worn by everyone when entering and moving around inside the building. We insist on this so other customers and staff can feel confident about staying safe at all times.

• Face coverings are not required when sitting at your table.

Do I need to book?

• It’s always best to book. We take bookings via the phone, 01446 772352. 

• At the moment, if you just show up and haven’t got a booking we’re more than likely be able to accomodate you.

• Tables are available just for food only, food and drink or drinks only.

• All tables are socially distanced and carefully sanitised.

• It will be table service only and we are not allowed to have standing drinkers at the bar.

Do you do takeaways?

Yes. 
• You can order any food from our menu or drink from the bar.
• Food and drink deliveries are available during opening times. 
• Orders can be picked up or delivered to your door.
